DGOJ Hosts First Anti-Money Laundering Conference & Expands Digital Outreach (Casino News Daily)

The Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ), part of Spain’s Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption, and the 2030 Agenda, has organized its first Sectoral Conference on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing in Online Gaming. The event, held on February 6, 2025, was conducted in collaboration with the Public Treasury and the Executive Service of the Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Monetary Offenses (Sepblac). The conference brought together representatives from the DGOJ, Sepblac, the Public Treasury, and authorized online gambling operators to address regulatory compliance challenges and identify key risks in the industry.
