Temple Guarding is a filler release, no doubt, and one that gives off reskin vibes. It’s not a slot that made much of an impact in its own right. There’s nothing majorly negative to report back from the audiovisual angle, however. Players who like to dip a pinky in the mysterious side of life get a bunch of enchanting creatures to enjoy in an equally enchanting environment. But, a quick browse over the paytable was all it took for enthusiasm to begin a slow, steady wilting effect.
Not having features in the base game rarely helps a slot’s enjoyment levels, though Temple Guardians’ pay symbol values are quite large at the upper levels. That leaves the bonus round, and it wasn’t great. It’s not a totally bare bones, hold ‘n’ win feature, but it’s close. The Green and Purple Money symbols add variety by nabbing other symbols’ values, but there isn’t a lot to see here. The game can technically generate wins up to a 10,000x cap, so presumably it can pay, plus there’s the 2,000x full grid prize on top, but still.
In the end, Temple Guardians is a forgettable slot. Money symbols grabbing other Money symbols might be fun, but Temple Guardians lacks the sort of depth to make you really want to stick around.
