Otherwise, the collection of ‘classic Push mechanics’ is very close in function to the bamboo game, though they have been toned down in Regal Knights. For instance, Instant Prize values have been decimated, pre-bonus feature gambling has been surgically excised, and the feature buy slimmed down from four options to just one. The game as a whole has been slimmed down, pared back, and diluted, some might say, to attract the attention of a different gambling appetite.
Fair dues, those with the right appetite should be happy enough with the results because despite being reduced in size and potency, Regal Knights is an entertaining mediaeval romp, even if it threatens to make the grizzled, Push Gaming high vola OGs feel like they are getting ghosted again as if the studio is back on the dating apps looking for a new replacement.
